You don’t have to be flexible to practice it as flexibility would eventually come as you regularly practice it. Flexibility comes with regular practice, so it would be recommended to do yoga most of the time.

Myth 2: Yoga is yet another hyped-up-new-age-exercise class
Yoga is not new at all as it started around 5000 years ago. Ancient history has talked about it and says that it started in the Indus Valley. Back then, it wasn’t known as an exercise, instead, it was practice as a form of spiritual devotion and meditation to enable individuals to experience unity and oneness with the Divine.

Overtime, people realize that it is a great exercise routine. Aside from helping people to become fit and flexible, it also emphasizes the need to live a healthy, natural way of life and for you to see the good and beauty in all.
