To look good, you must be thin.  If you are overweight, you should change your lifestyle so that you would look your best. Understand and accept the fact that weight loss does not happen overnight. Successful weight loss means changing your lifestyle from a sedentary lifestyle into an active lifestyle.  And that is not something that can be achieved overnight!

Luckily, it is not that boring and torturous to start living a healthy lifestyle! There are many ways start living a healthy lifestyle.  Here, are some of the best ways to start:

  1. You should limit using your car.  Use the car only if needed.  For destinations that are walking distance then, you should walk.  It might not seem to be burning  many  calories, but its accumulated calories lose overtime will build up, and you will be a surprise to know that you are thinner than you used to be.
  2. Sleep early and wake up early.  Expert has  proven that our metabolism is greatest in the early morning, and if you manage to capitalize on that by exercising in the morning, you are going to lose more calories faster.
  3. Eat healthy foods. Choose whole-meal breads over white bread. Choose brown rice instead of white rice.     Consume sweet potatoes instead of French fries. Snack on nuts like pistachios or baked almonds instead of potato chips.
  4. Drink lots of water.  Coke and other carbonated drinks or beer are extremely unhealthy for your weight loss goals. Carbonated drinks are full of empty calories, which inherently mean calories     that have no nutritional value. Carbonated drinks are also high in trans-fats, which are fats that are hard to lose.  Beer is high in visceral fats, which are most commonly accumulated in front of the tummy, and are usually hard to touch.
  5. Have an exercise routine.  Your exercise routine should include body weight circuit exercises with little rest time between sets.  It is helpful in maintaining the heart rate up and metabolism higher. Body weight exercises are best for workout since they are made of  compound movements, requiring the movement of more than one joint in your body.
